Edinburgh, Scotland (AP)

Scottish President Mark Scot announced a mutual defense pact and economic agreement between Scotland and the Nordic Union. "There is to be a Joint Economic Co-operation Council based in Edinburgh, and a Joint Military Co-operation Council based in Oslo." explained President Scot. This new alliance could stir matters in the British Isles even more, creating a system of alliances much like that in existance before the Great War.

Ukraine, Romania Offer Troops for Peacekeeping Efforts

Kiev, Ukraine (AP)

The leader of the Ukraine, Drake Brown, offered Ukranian ships for peacekeeping operations in the British Isles. Mr. Brown proposed that Ukranian ships be allowed to patrol waters around Scotland to prevent further English incursions into Scottish territory. Romania, following suit with her ally, offered to send several troops and military equipment to the boarder between Scotland and England to create a buffer zone between the two nations. Neither England nor Scotland has as yet accepted either offer.

America Sets Date for Peace Talks

Brussels, Belgium (CNN)

Aerican President Donald Trump (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA) announced the date for talks over the recent developements in the British Isles. Scotland and England will be the main participants, but Ireland, Germany, and France have also been invited to attend. The summit is scheduled to begin in a week (Saturday November 21st, real date to make it more convenient for players to attend). America hopes to resolve long-standing disputes between the nations in question, and to create a lasting peace in the west so that Europe and America can turn their collective attentions eastward.

Scotland has offered to allow neutral international inspectors to oversee the construction of the Scottish destroyers due to be finished next year, and the frigates (also due to be completed late next year), and has made more assurances that if the English step down and withdraw from Scottish territory, then Scotland will demobilize their military forces. Still, it should be noted that in attempts to diffuse the situation, Scotland has placed several unarmed boarder guards along the English-Scottish boarder. Scotland has been very careful not to provoke her southern neighbor, and to take no more offensive actions.

Votes of No Confidence Eminent in Italy and Spain

Rome, Italy (AP)

Due to a total shutting down of government activity over the budget issues in these nations, many of the people are preparing to call a vote of no confidence in Italy and Spain. This could have good and it could have bad effects for the rest of Europe. Several groups in Italy have announced their intentions to contend for the Italian leadership, ranging from Communists to the revived Fascist party in Italy. The situation in Spain is not nearly so dire, but the vote will no doubt bring about extreme changes in Spanish policy.

Tel Aviv, Israel (AP)

The already tense situation between Israel and the Iranian/Russian/Egyptian alliance escalated today when Egyptian threats turned real: Egyptian forces mobilized to enter Israel if the Israeli government did not agree to land consessions in the south, and a complete withdrawal from Jerusalem. We will track the issue as it developes: the Israeli government has yet to reply.

Russia Announces Espionage is not Chinese Treachery

Moscow, Russia (AP)

Russian officials refused to leak their reasons for this belief, but say that their investigation is now shifting away from Asia entirely. We will keep you posted as to the results of the investigation.

Economics:

Economically, the recent quarter has been a flop for the previously-recovering European economy. German markets have been consistantly growing, but nearly every other major European market has lost in the past month. England, especially, has suffered, losing 301 points just since the last edition of EuroTimes. This is caused by, experts say, investors' worry over the current conditions existing between Scotland and England, and a confusion over production.

Things have been equally tense in the east, and as a result nearly ever major Eastern economy has suffered this past quarter as well.

In the Americas, revived economies in the north, and increased investment from the North to the South, has boosted every American economy except Mexico, who has suffered due to commitment issues.
